I'm a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in computer science with an interest in web development. Growing up, I was introduced to front-end design thanks to a little "virtual pet-site" called Neopets. Recently, I've been learning back-end development and databases in my free time, building up my skillset to become a full-stack developer.
Besides web development, I'm also passionate about being active in my communities. At ODU, I am currently on the executive board for the student Sexuality & Gender Alliance, am a frequent student panelist for ODU Safe Space trainings for faculty and staff, and have previously been an LGBTQ+ peer mentor through the Office of Intercultural Relations. It's important for me to always try to center and uplift marginalized folks whenever possible, both in my activism and in my work.
